Magpul has been quietly building out a full magazine lineup for the Sig Sauer P365 platform, and the latest additions are worth paying attention to. The AMAG 17 SG9 is a 17-round stainless steel magazine running $34.95, and the AMAG 15 SG9 launched alongside it at the same price point. Both are in stock now. Magpul also says 12- and 10-round variants are expected by February 2026, which should cover the capacity-restricted states.

The construction is stainless steel for the body and spring, with a polymer floorplate and follower. Magpul went with a high-visibility, controlled-tilt follower design and a flared, removable floorplate for easy cleaning. There are capacity-indicator windows at five-round intervals and a paint-pen dot matrix on the body if you’re one of those people who marks your mags by load type. (I am not, but I respect the commitment.)

Here’s what matters for P365 owners specifically: These magazines ship with grip extensions for the Macro, X/XL, and Standard/Micro frame sizes. That’s a single magazine SKU covering essentially every P365 variant Sig currently sells. The lock plate attachment system is supposed to minimize pinch points during reloads, which anyone who’s caught skin on a P365 baseplate will appreciate.

At $34.95 per magazine, Magpul is undercutting Sig’s OEM magazines by a fair margin. Whether the AMAG holds up to the same round count and abuse as the factory mags remains to be seen — nobody’s put 5,000 rounds through one of these yet, as far as I know. But Magpul’s track record with the PMAG line gives them some credibility here.

The real question is whether Magpul plans to keep going. The P365 ecosystem has exploded in the last few years, and aftermarket magazine options have historically been hit-or-miss for the platform. If these work reliably, Magpul could own a significant chunk of that market. If they don’t, well, the internet will let them know.

Both the 17- and 15-round versions are available now on Magpul’s site.
