What Can We Learn?
Can you imagine spending a beautiful day in a public park and a man attacks you with an ax? An ax of all things? That is exactly what happened in Albuquerque, NM. I know this is a very short article with very little information. Now knowing any background information for either the attacker or survivor does impede our ability to make any real connections to the story. However, I do feel that this is an important story. Why? Because the unexpected can always happen. No one would think to look out for a man with an ax in a public park. What I took from this article is that it reinforces our need to expect the unexpected. Pay attention to those around you and keep your wits about you at all times.
