Top 10 Guns Women Bought in 2022
The results from The Well Armed Woman 2022 Survey are in! If you’re curious as to which gun models women are buying, below is your answer. Here are the top 10 guns women bought in 2022 in descending order. This data reflects the guns they purchased by women this past year and does not reflect what their intended use was. We will answer what guns women carry concealed in an upcoming article.

My Take Aways
As you know, I go through the data personally, and each year as I go through it all, some things and guns stand out. There are so many gun models to choose from and trust me, I think they are all present in the data. Of course, all of the guns listed above are fabulous, and women clearly like them and buy them, but numerous gun models continually show up in big numbers.
Here are #11 through #15
- #11 Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 2.0
- #12 HK VP9
- #13 Smith & Wesson M&P
- #14 Glock 43
- #15 Glock 48 & Glock 42 Tie
The Ruger LCP and all of its iterations continue to be very popular. Even though there were no revolvers in the top 15. They were present in the data mind you, such as the S&W 642, S&W Bodyguard, and the Ruger LCR.
Although not individually listed here, it should be noted that Taurus has become quite a popular choice. Its new G series, released in early 20222 would have placed in the Top 10 if I combined all G models. This Taurus model is definitely one to watch.
Another gun that had a solid showing is the new Walther PDP-F. this gun has been designed with reduced trigger reach, reduced grip circumference, and reduced force necessary to operate the slide for those with smaller hands. Another model to watch.
Nine of the above are 9mm’s. This clearly shows that the majority of women prefer a 9mm.
Man, there are a lot of great guns for women!
